Hubryis

Hubryis is the alias of, Los Angeles based, electronic music artist, Ryan Hubert, formally known as Bonsai (US). He appears on Soul Button's storied imprint Steyoyoke, Three Hands records, and now Tube & Berger's budding label Zehn Records.

 

Hubryis tells his story through the curation of dark broody and hypnotic rhythms, cinematic and pensive atmospheres, and taboo ethereal leads. His performances guide listeners through a cinematic epoch, an orchestration of sounds masterfully crafted into a spiritual journey.  He graphs his performances to the rising and falling of the suns light, ensuring the listener a complete exploration into the evolution of ones own emotions.  This captivating process whisks listeners away from their reality allowing them to glance, ever so briefly into the mind and soul of Hubryis. Taking this journey together creates creates a metaphysical understanding, a symbiotic existence, a solidarity, a mental, physical, and spiritual union transcending all time and space.
